A trip to Palm Beach was planned due to the importance of iconic Martha's boutique and her friendship with Pauline Trigère. I chalked out another vintage Trigère fashion photo shoot with local model and photographer, (Instagram HERE) to showcase the timeless Trigère garments.

With the dawn of the 1960’s, Pauline Trigère’s fame was firmly established, and her celebrity had expanded outside of the Seventh Avenue and onto Hollywood.

In 1961, Pauline designed the costumes for actress Patricia Neal’s role in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The classic Hollywood movie was adapted from author Truman Capote’s book of the same name. The film featured actress Audrey Hepburn playing the eccentric lead character Holly Golightly. While Audrey Hepburn’s character was dressed by French couturier Givenchy, opposite her character was a wealthy matron named Emily Eustace Fallenson played by Patricia Neal.

This photo shoot is a homage to Pauline's contribution and involvement to Breakfast at Tiffany's. Please see my separate Substack blog for all the photos from Patricia Neal's wardrobe from the film.

Stay tuned for "World's Fashion Greats at Martha's" blog, an iconic Palm Beach boutique and friend of Pauline Trigère.
