I began my apprenticeship with Ms.Pauline Trigere in 1996 immediately after I graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.   After years of working in the fashion industry and advancing up to Design Director's position at various companies, there has always been a desire for me to document Ms.Trigere's legacy.  

 

During the pandemic I began to spend more time on research.  I also become keenly aware the urgency of interviewing the few remaining people that knew Ms.Trigere and their recollection of this fashion legend, it was important to preserve her life story and to share an integral part of American fashion history.
