I began my apprenticeship with Ms.Pauline Trigere in 1996 immediately after I graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.   After years of working in the fashion industry and advancing up to Design Director's position at various companies, there has always been a desire for me to document Ms.Trigere's legacy.  

 

During the pandemic I was able to spend more time on research and conduct remote phone interviews.  I also become keenly aware the urgency of contacting the few remaining people that knew Ms.Trigere and their recollection of this fashion legend in order to preserve her life story and an important part of American fashion history.

This website has blogs in three different sections:  interviews, museums and fashion photo shoots.  Each steps of this research has been extremely rewarding.
